Care-O-Bot: Configuring and Using the Microsoft Kinect Depth Sensor
The Care-O-Bot uses the Kinect driver from the openni_camera package. You can find comprehensive information on calibrating and using this driver at the wikipage of this package.
However, we prepared Care-O-Bot specific launch files which can be found in the folder cob_camera_sensors/ros/launch/$ROBOT/ ($ROBOT takes on the value of your robot, e.g. cob3-1). If you have set the ROBOT environment variable properly, you can start the Kinect driver with
roslaunch cob_camera_sensors cam3d.launch
